BON V!V approached The Creative Bar looking to create a new experiential marketing campaign that incorporated the use of Augmented Reality (AR). The team helped develop and strategize a concept in which a virtual BON V!V Vending Machine could be placed in front of a consumer once a QR code was scanned. This idea would then be applied to the side of buildings in both San Diego and Los Angeles. Once a user scans the display, a (virtual) vending machine “drops” in front of them through their smartphone. They are then able to interact with the vending machine and share it with their friends and families as well as locate BON V!V products near them for purchase.
Our team developed a custom designed vending machine that would later be turned into a 3D virtual experience. We worked alongside the AR company that developed the technical side of the experience to ensure that both the design and UX were within the scope of the project objective. Our team then created full-scale displays including the custom vending machine along with branded graphics to fit within the limitations of the posting locations. We tackled windows, ledges, slopes, and panes, to create a seamless experience for the consumer.
