Sonner Audio is a developer of premium speakers. They approached The Creative Bar in need of a brand message and style that would communicate their competitive advantage. While many other companies in the industry were claiming to make premium and technologically advanced sound systems, the musical expression was dead—so technical it had lost all emotion and “real-life” character. After completing many collaborative branding exercises, Sonner Audio’s true strengths and persona were revealed. As music enthusiasts first and foremost, they needed a brand that conveyed the emotion and dynamics their products provided, as if the musician were really there in the room. The Creative Bar developed a complete Brand Standards Guide for the company with a detailed outline of their brand’s identity, personality, and communication style. This would lead to extensive preparation for audio tradeshows including packaging, marketing collateral, advertisements and more.
