Social Media Specialist

At The Creative Bar, we believe remarkable talent, enthusiasm, and creative thinking add up to great work. We’re looking for a creative thinker with excellent social media strategy and writing skills to help us elevate that work as our full-time, in-house Social Media Specialist.


As a member of the creative team, our Social Media Specialist will enhance and build strong online communities across multiple brands through various social media platforms. They will be responsible for developing and administering social media content that is designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship between consumers and the company. The successful candidate will also be required to collect and review social media data to develop more effective campaigns. 


The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills to write and edit copy for a variety of projects, working closely with the accounts and design teams to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging. Thorough research and interviews will be required to understand each client’s industry, products/services, branding, and marketing goals. 


Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Work closely with the design team to develop social media campaigns that help to achieve marketing goals
  • Develop monthly reports on emerging social media trends 
  • Monitor social media accounts and offer constructive interaction with users
  • Analyze the long-term needs for the social media strategy and offer reports to the management and executive teams that outline any necessary changes to the digital marketing plan.
  • Ability to monitor online activity across departments and geographical areas to ensure anyone using the company’s online tools is following established guidelines and best-practice rules
  • Encourage greater social media participation
  • Identify opportunities to influence public perception through audience engagement and public
  • Interpret creative direction and adapt points from creative briefs into persuasive copy concepts
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines
  • Writing clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy
  • Drive the creation of original concepts that result in effective and compelling communication
  • Understand different language styles that appeal to various target markets
  • Develop and maintain a clear and consistent brand voice

  • Experience as a social media specialist or similar position
  • Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use social media for impressions and brand awareness
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook
  • Understanding of social media KPIs, web traffic metrics, and SEO
  • Experience doing buyer persona and audience research
  • Experience in producing copy for digital, print, and broadcast channels
  • Exceptional skill with the nuances of social media writing, including the use of hashtags, emojis, and acronyms


Graphic Designer I

At The Creative Bar, we believe remarkable talent, enthusiasm, and creative thinking add up to great work. We’re looking for a creative thinker with excellent design skills to help us elevate that work as our full-time, in-house Graphic Designer.


We need you to bring your passion, skill, and knowledge of design to help us grow. We’re looking for a creative self-starter with excellent graphic design skills to help us elevate our work.



  • Understands the importance of following a brand guide document to ensure that assets are on brand, on strategy, and accurately executed based on approved style guidelines
  • Contributes to the creative vision from ideation, execution, and asset delivery
  • Works across a variety of media including print, digital, social, etc.
  • Experience in 3D is a plus!
  • Develops design concepts, production mock-ups, and final assets
  • Collaborates with other team members to develop compelling designs that are on-brand
  • Collaborates with multiple departments to ensure the success of go-to-market plans and asset deadlines
  • Creates accurate production files based on approved style guides and templates
  • Works with creative leads to improve visual style, iconography, photography, product story, and brand messaging
  • Secures final approvals of design assets by uploading layouts within our digital proofing system, moderates feedback, and edits the layouts until approved
  • Ensures and maintains a positive environment with team members
  • Collaborates with the Art Director in producing creative assets that are on brand and on brief
  • Maintains the approved authentic and visual style of each assigned task

  • A degree in Graphic Design, Fine Art, or Communications
  • 4+ years experience in professional graphic design
  • Stellar online portfolio/samples of previous design projects
  • Advanced proficiency with all aspects of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)

This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position and the candidate will be required to work in our Murrieta, CA location at least two days per week following our hybrid remote schedule.
